Setting up Outlook Express for POP3 Email

10 easy steps...

1. Open Outlook
   
   
2. Click on theTools menu then Accounts – click on Add and Mail
   
   
3. Enter your name and click next
   
   
4. Enter your email address into username field i.e. yourname@yourdomain.co.uk and click next.
   
   
5. Make sure the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ is a POP3 server.
   
   
6. Incoming mail POP3 server is "mail.yourdomain.co.uk" or "mail.yourdomain.com"
   
   
7. Outgoing mail SMTP server (for Blue Chilli dialup accounts) is "smtp.yourdomain.co.uk" or "smtp.yourdomain.com" and click next.
   
   If you are not using a Blue Chilli dial-up account or are using ISDN or ADSL, then you will need to contact your service provider for the correct SMTP configuration, eg: this could be "smtp.btclick.com" or "smtp.btinternet.com".
   
   
8. Account name = yourname@yourdomain.co.uk.
   
   
9. Password = the password you set up with BlueChilli.
   
   
10. Click Finish
    
    That’s it!
